It was hard to believe that God had called another laborer to glory. We met at RDU Airport and even though I have moved through out the years, we never went long without talking to each other. I would ask how you are doing, and you would say OK I guess for an old man. We never hung up the phone without saying I love you. I remember our last phone call, and last visit when I was in Raleigh. I will miss you so so much. I remember the conversations we had about your family, friends, sports and the Bible. I will miss getting the first birthday card, and Christmas card from you. RIP my friend.

Deepest sympathy on the loss of your family member. May the memories of him be fond ones. The Bible holds out the resurrection hope that Jesus expressed at John 11:25. May the family be comforted with the love extended through friends and acquaintances. RIP , Mr. Beaufort

Condolences to the family & friends. Some of you I have met in person, others in updates & phone calls as you called Sam. I know Sam had a wonderful and loving extended family. I will miss our rivalries and my updates on the world of sports. I will miss zipping around the corner for our visits. My life has been richer having known Sam. Sam, rest in peace. You have earned it.

Sam, my neighbor in Fayetteville at one time and more recently my 3 doors down neighbor in Raleigh. Rest well my friend. It is well deserved. Condolences to the family.

To the family and friends of Sammy, we are so sadden to hear of the death of Sammy. I won't be able to call you [Sammy] to confirm family history, to tell you of the latest events and to hear from you and you from me of how we are progressing with our lives and times. Another historian has moved on to glory. Sammy, don't be trying to tell God how things should be run or even how things are. I hope you are resting from your labor. RIP. God bless the Beaufort, Evans and Bryant families and friends during this time of bereavement.
