I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mother, Mrs. McLean. May the love of family, friends, and Almighty God bring you comfort and support during your time of grief and afterward. (Ps. 83:18; Isaiah 41:10) May your precious memories of her and the hope of a resurrection right here on a restored earth bring you peace. (Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:11, 29)

The Olive family sends sympathy to all of Ruby's family. She was an outstanding woman who certainly always gave her best for the welfare of our family. She cared for our children at a time when no one but Ruby could have joined our family support team.

My condolences go to the McLean family on the loss of your precious loved one who has fallen asleep in death. May you find a measure of comfort from the gift that the Most High God has given us (Psalm 83:18). Yes, that precious gift is the Bible(2Timothy 3:16). I refer to it as a Book of comfort. It helps one to understand why things happen and the encouraging outcome of a sad situation such as death of a loved one.

When our daughter died we were so so saddened but drawing from the Scriptures such as Revelation 21:3,4 really helped, that mourning, outcry & pain will be gone. It didn't say might be gone but Will be gone. Recently my precious husband of 50 years fell asleep in death. I reflected upon the Scriptures again also at John 5:28, 29 yes it mentions the Resurrection, free from sickness (Isaiah 33:24- no more sickness) You may wonder where will I see them again? Please, notice what it says at Psalm 37:11 and notice Psalm 37:29 says How long.

Did you notice I mentioned several times the words fell asleep in death? This is because, God's son Jesus viewed death that way at John 11:11-14. Yes, he viewed death as one Sleeping.

I hope these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to me.
Sent in deep sympathy,
Sissy
