Aunt Bec - We Will Miss You

We will miss your strong eyes and warm smile embracing us when we walk through the door
We will miss your stories about chocolates - you always wanting more
We will miss your strong words - few, heartfelt, and true
Though we will sincerely miss you,
We are fortunate to have special memories that we each share with you
Memories that will help sustain us as we continue life on Earth without you
Though we love you and will miss you being, physically, here with us
We have to reflect and remember that our Father lent you to this Earth for 97 years
And as we move forward and maybe even shed some tears
We must remember to be thankful for the Most High allowing you to reach the blessed age of ninety-seven
And continue to reflect on your life, and allow our memories to help sustain us until we see you again in Heaven
So Aunt Bec, go ahead and take your well-deserved rest
We know that you are in a much better place and though we love you, we know that God loves you best

Until we see you again,
Herman and Corine

My deepest condolences to the Currie family:
Life indeed does take its turns. And when someone has been around for 97 years and falls asleep in death they have made beautiful memories to cherish. They will be missed. And, my heart goes out to you on your precious loss. May you look forward to the Most High God of Comfort fulfilling His promises (Psalms 83:18 & 2Corinthians 1:3, 4).
Notice what He promises: Revelations 21:4 ( No more pain, tears, sorrow or death) and He even says where they are (Daniel 12:2), and the beautiful resurrection hope (John 5:28, 29) and where they will be ( Psalms 37:11) and how long (Psalms 37:29). I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to us when our precious daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death. I truly understand the deep pain of losing a loved one.

Please hold onto those precious promises yes, seeing our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24).
My deep deep heartfelt sympathy,
Sissy
