Eddie Louis...it's been eight months since God called you home and sometimes it feels as though it was yesterday. We've shared 51 years together, some would call that a lifetime. I miss you honey, but I know I'll see you again.

It was Birthday on yesterday and I just wanted to tell you that I miss you something awful. Great things are happening in my life and I wanted to share these things with you. Since you have been gone; things are not as fun, life is not as sweet and the sun does not sun as bright. You were my "leaning post". But I know over time I will adjust to the new me (living on without you, Poppa). I just wanted you to know that you are missed dearly and I appreciated all the talks we shared.
