Ms. Jimmie Ruth McKay, age 79, of Fayetteville, NC departed this life on Thursday, January 13, 2022.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 10:30 AM in Wiseman Mortuary Chapel. Burial: Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
She is survived by her son Patrick F. McKay (Quintonia) of Elkins Park, PA; daughter-in-law Dellaleah McKay of Garner, NC; three sisters, Patricnello Curry Jackson of Havelock, NC, Cynthia J. Thomas of Burton, MI, and Brenda J. Curry (J.D. Brown) of Saginaw, MI, and one brother, Frederick Curry of Saginaw, MI; two grandsons, William A. McKay of Charlotte, NC and Sean Z. McKay of Garner, NC; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. Mother McKay leaves a legacy of compassion, love of humanity, and service to others.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in Wiseman Mortuary.
