Mrs. Dorothy A. Wheeler age 75 of Newark NJ formerly of Fayetteville departed this life Friday, October 16, 2020.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Burial: Church Cemetery.
Dorothy leaves to mourn, the love of her life, her devoted and beloved son, Reginald Dorsey, of Irvington, NJ; her step-daughter Jacqueline Dorsey-Motley of Newport News, VA; stepson, Jermaine Wheeler, of Norcross, GA; her “mini-me”, her beloved granddaughter Wajidah F. Finney Smith (Kerry Smith, Jr.) of Virginia Beach, VA; grandsons Darius J. Dorsey and Jordan A. Dorsey of Snellville, Georgia; great-granddaughters, Mizani Smith and Madison Smith, of Virginia Beach, VA, and Terra Olivia Powers of Snellville, GA. She also leaves her devoted siblings, Elijah Wilson of Hampton Virginia; Leon Wilson of Newark, NJ; Christine Vaughan (Jesse) of Hampton, VA; and Starnella Whitfield of Fayetteville, NC; in-laws, Rev. Paul A. Baker of Hope Mills, NC and Betty J. Wilson of Hampton, VA; along with a host of Nieces, Nephews, Relatives, and Friends.
