Retired Airforce SSGT John Wesley Shaw Jr., age 73 of Raeford formerly of Philadelphia PA departed this life Monday, August 19, 2019.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22nd 5:00 PM to 7:00 in the Wiseman Mortuary Chapel, with words of comfort being given by Rev. Dr. Orin Gill, pastor of St. Luke A. M. E. Church, Fayetteville at 6:00 PM.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday August, 31st at 10:00 AM in Greater Mt. Olive A. M. E. Church in Philadelphia PA. Burial to follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Philadelphia PA. Service in Philadelphia are entrusted to Congleton Funeral Home, Philadelphia PA (215)-849-73257

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: wife, Doris Shaw; sons, Brian A. Shaw and Ryan O. Shaw; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
