Mr. Leonard Chestnut, age 65 of 7434 Ryan Street Fayetteville NC departed this life on January 9, 2017.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20th at 10:00 AM in the New Bethel Disciples of Christ Church.  Burial: Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.

He is survived by:  wife, Saddie; step-mother, Martha Lee Chestnut; son, Leonard Chestnut, Jr; daughters, LaTina and Precious Chestnut; brothers, Billy Chestnut and Charlie Mitchell; sister, Linda Faye Chestnut; grandchildren, Marquis Wint, Shykelia Chestnut, Damien Chestnut, Kisala Williams, Nessiah Williams and Nara-El Williams and a host of other relatives and friends.
