 FAYETTEVILLE -    Retired Army SFC Joyce Marie Reed Underwood, age 56 of 1143 Curry Ford Drive Fayetteville NC departed this life on January 10, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20th at 1:00 PM in the Church of God Pentecostal Church in McIntosh, AL directed by the Smalls Funeral Home of Mobile, AL. Burial will be held on Monday, January 23rd at 12:00 Noon in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Ft. Bragg, NC. She is survived by: husband, Delwin; daughter, Chelsea Underwood; parents, J. C. and Erma Reed; brother, J. C. (Jennifer) Reed, Jr.; sisters, Linda Reed, Rose (Joseph) Naves, Shelly (George) Corbin, Ertha (Kelvin) Pleasant, Pama (Fabian) Adams, Sharon Johnson, Caron (Ted) Watkins and Rondallyn (Barry) Jones and a host of other relatives and friends. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, January 17th at 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wiseman Mortuary.
